- To contribute comp solutions, you can scan your answer using the free CamScanner App[8], email it to yourself as .pdf and then upload it using the "Upload file" link in the left panel of the wiki.
- Here is a link to a folder containing two pdfs that are too large for this wiki: One with all UCLA comps (without solutions) and one with all solutions for Fall 2009 until Fall 2014. The folder is visible to anyone at Google Apps for UCLA with the link (click "switching accounts" and then "sign in to another account" with your g.ucla.edu email). If one gets distracted by computers, one could print the more recent half and work with that.
General Resources
- Here is some General Advice from Tom Neiser, a senior grad student.
- Here is a Formula Sheet for training your mind while on the bus or at the gym.
Other Resources
- Problem Books from other universities (e.g. Princeton, Chicago, MIT) (Amazon.com)
- UCSD Physics PhD Qualifying Exams and Solutions
- UC Davis Preliminary Exam Study Group
